South Huron soccer group asks municipality to develop long-term plan for fields

Player registration has increased substantially since last year

As the popularity of soccer continues to grow in South Huron, Ont., the local soccer club wants the municipality to ensure there is a sufficient number of fields available in the future.

The Post reports the South Huron Soccer Club wishes to work with the municipality in developing a long-term plan for fields.

The number of soccer registrants has grown to 347 this year, compared to 200 a year ago. The club currently utilizes various fields in Exeter as well as another that is privately owned.
