Grading, sodding of reconfigured Waterloo ball diamonds delayed by wet spring weather

Wet spring weather has delayed the completion of two reconfigured baseball diamonds in Waterloo, Ont. According to the Waterloo Region Record, the building contractor has had to wait for weather conditions to improve before grading can be completed and sod laid.

It’s expected the Waterloo Park diamonds will be ready for play in July. The cost of the project was $2.1 million.
