Crews from RattleSnake Point Golf Club help with restoration
July 24, 2024 By Turf & Rec
Oakville, Ont.’s Glen Abbey Golf Club has reopened for play following a massive flood from a week ago that put much of the golf course under water.
Oakville News reports staff from RattleSnake Point Golf Club in Milton bolstered Glen Abbey’s crews to get the course back into playing condition.
Water levels subsided daily following the July 16 flood caused by a torrential rainfall that hit the Greater Toronto Area. Golfers were able to play some holes during the past week, but all 18 have officially reopened today.
