Dome raised atop North Bay college’s new indoor sports and recreation facility

Canadore College in North Bay, Ont. now has a roof over its new sports facility project.

A dome has been placed atop the field, allowing for year-round play of a variety of sports. According to BayToday, a team of more than 50 college employees helped put the dome in place.

The field includes an artificial turf playing surface. The facility is available for use by both college athletic programs and by the public.

The full project is expected to be finished this fall.
